Interconnectedness, and shared risk, is a reality of business. Collectively managing that risk can secure entire supply chains - something unachievable by one organization. The Business Resilience Council (BRC) Risk Team Membership unites risk teams– like those in third party and supply chain risk management, and compliance teams– across peer organizations and with partners, vendors and suppliers to address emerging threats and systemic events. Topics the Risk Team examines include third party and supply chain risk, systemic cyber, physical and geopolitical threats, major weather events, new regulations, sanctions and topics of business resilience.

When engaged with the community, members have access to a collaborative environment where awareness, education and direct communication flourish. Together we can mature security and resilience in the ecosystem and when an incident occurs, the BRC provides a protected space for vendors to address the community and provide mitigating strategies.
